Yes it appears Katy is in her BTW era. Obviously it is less impactful, but it is following the same single success pattern, except the fact that Yoü and I was a big hit in America. Let's see if Katy can get her Yüyi before the eras over

Another reason why Prism isn't Katy Perry's Born This Way: with BTW, Gaga was able to gather Critical Acclaim: the year the album was released, 3 of its songs figured in the New York Pazz and Jop Singles top 100 and a total of 6 figured in the top 200. Born This Way's Metascore on Reviews aggregating site Metacritic was 71. When Prism was released, only two of its songs figured in the top 200 and the album's Metascore was 61 - something impressive for Katy's standarts, Kats said, since her previous highest score was a 52 with the release of Teenage Dream.

Gaga had bigger album sales and reviews
But it feels like most people are still into Katy, unlike Gaga towards the end of the BTW era

I can't at people trying to prove that Katy has flopped this era when she in fact had one of her biggest hits during this era, Roar and Dark Horse... yeah she had few flops too, but these two singles were so huge that it doesn't even matter...

No, BTW is strategically messed up (like all other nations were forging an alliance to get rid of you or just deny you anything to might contribute to your success) and internal collapse like the USSR.

The monsters were depicted by the press/media as angry mobs attacking any celeb, singer, fan base,... The other fanbases have the choice to not give new receipts/ammo to the monsters.

Their rabid nature and acting on instinct backfired inwards. The internal fighting started between the superfans and non-delusional fans. The amount of monsters greatly declined.
