It's really subjective but at the age of 17 I feel like Lorde is more intellectual than Lana a 28 year old - that says something.

Lana. Never understood the whole "Royals" buzz. Never liked Lorde's look, never liked the fact that she opened her mouth even before receiving awards or anything, and that was a huge turn off for me, so I literally never check for her.

Lana's songs describe feelings that you usually find hard to describe, and every song has a perfect vibe/mood to it.
