Beyonce has been known to take others work without giving due credit. There are countless examples of such instances: from taking sole credit of Ne-Yo's "Irreplaceable" to basically copying some random foreign singer's entire visual concept for her Billboard performance after seeing it on Youtube of all places. We shouldn't act as though these things didn't happen when they did.

1. "
Beyonce doesn't properly credit people for their work and ideas." You say this as if everyone else: Madonna, Gaga, Rihanna, Katy, Nicki, etc. properly credit the concept, artwork, production, etc. of their eras to the public. Do you think they come up with everything and Beyoncé is the only one with a team?
2. She never took sole credit of Irreplaceable. I don't remember that happening. I remember her saying "I wrote…" once in concert but I didn't think a concert was the court of law, nor do I think that the clear liner notes mean she get sole credit. Ne-Yo himself has spoken about this and said he was okay with her saying that since she did write on it.
3. She used the same company that produced the Italian woman's performance for her Billboard one. So that's not really copying someone that's commissioning a company who can do something specific for you.
4. Pop music is such a mishmash of things. You don't honestly need to credit every single reference you make. Like was Get Me Bodied supposed to begin with a slide saying "
INSPIRED BY THE FILM SWEET CHARITY" or that Ashanti & Ja Rule one supposed to end with "
This has been inspired by the motion picture, Grease"? No. You either get it or you don't.
