Her personality has always been there. On X-Factor, from time to time and on most of the Britney Jean promo (especially the radio promo and the documentary), for example. Obviously, she's an adult now so she won't be as hyper and immature as she was during her prime years. Also, she almost got swallowed by the Hollywood machine so she'll never be as open & talkative as she used to be. She'll always have the damocles sword of the breakdown over her head, when doing interviews (I recall, it's merely the most publicized and technologically shifting celebrity moment of the 21th century).

It seems some people online are so eager to cling onto that robotic ******** (which is ironical because she's one of the most human celebrity ever) that they brush everything that doesn't fit their ridiculous narrative under the carpet. Yet, the negativity is always highlighted and given first billing... That's the downside of the online world, I guess. Where the herd mentality and the cynicism are applauded and the dreamers and optimists are ignored or shunned.
