Scientist transmits message into the mind of a colleague 5,000 miles away using brain waves

My opinion: this is really cool and stuff, but I am not ready for people invading my thoughts and/or receiving spam brain waves-- that would be terribly exhausting.
I know it sounds cray, but in the future our descendants will be, like, magical beings.
Our bodies will be equipped with nanocomputers that allow us to manipulate our environments and communicate telepathically. instant-teleportation is also possible within the laws of physics. This is only the beginning.
