Would ATRL be defending/reacting in the same way in which they are
here. I can't help but imagine that if she had said something along the lines of "Gay teens who get bullied to death deserve to die, their fault for not fighting back etc" ATRL would be celebrating her death. I think some people are just being Self-righteous.
And no its not necessarily hypocritical to wish death upon someone who wished death upon a group of innocent people. It would be hypocritical for example to condemn Joan's comments, then make a statement like "all gays deserve to die". But wishing Joan River dies isn't collectively grouping together a large number of people and wishing them the same fate.
I'm just surprised that anyone is defending her. This was the same woman who thought innocent children deserved to die, i bet when she made that comment she didn't think of their daily struggles and suffering, how they have to live each day fearing for their life. But now, as soon as this privileged, wealthy 80 year old woman is facing the same fate as those children she said deserved to die, we need to show compassion...like FOH
I'm not saying she deserves to die btw.
