There are plenty of disturbing movies, what is the most disturbing you have seen?


I have read of plenty of disturbing movies such as Cannibal Holocaust (by far the worst I have read about as a lot of in the film is real) , Salo, Martyrs, A Serbian Film, The Human Centipede II, etc.


The only famous "disturbing" movie I have seen is The Human Centipede (the first one) which I found actually quite tame.

I think the most disturbing movie I have seen is a french film called "Aurore". It wasn't very graphic or gory, but it was VERY disturbing to a psychological level and I actually watched this film in class.

I would say any movie that has rape scences. Or that one part in Sinister where the person was getting run over by a lawn mower

Salò, even though I actually liked it (and I love the book that it is based upon, by the Marquis de Sade).

Also I was pretty spooked and bothered by 'Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer."

I hated the first part of the Centipede. It was merely gross for the sake of being gross.


This, too. Even though I loved 'Irreversible', I was left feeling kind of uneasy for a while.

It is garbage. Hated it.

I have searched this film... even without watching it I have been traumatized by it. I wouldn't dare watch this film, though a friend of mine at school has and said it's quite a good film but extremely disturbing. Probably the 2nd most disturbing I have researched after Cannibal Holocaust.

I love The Mist, one of my favourite horror films but yes a very disturbing film.

Funny Games I love as it's a "troll". It makes you hate the movie so much and plays with your emotions and go "but that's not fair WTF?" It's interesting how it can effect you.

Never seen it but Human Centipede 2 seems pretty ****ed up. Oh and the Hostel movies.
