Does hit-filled/pandering always get panned by critics?

Anyone watching the new season of "Braxton Family Values"?

The only thing I know about Joan Rivers is her plastic face. But I guess she must've been a big deal in life if she gets people so upset.

@Kworb, Joan Rivers is pretty famous in the US. One of the most successful female comedians and she's been around since the stone age, she pre-dates Madonna.

I might have to turn in my Tamartian card because I legit cannot stand her this season… I mean, I thought she was bad before, she's just awful right now…

Joan Rivers is hilarious and probably the most influential female comedian of all time.

I definitely see her influence in Kathy Griffin, who is just as funny.

I still don't get it. What was Godriana thinking when she made that lifeless Zedd song the second single of the era? That song is soooo basic that not even her godly vocals could make that song listenable more than 3x.

Tamar Braxton has always been awful, in every way.

Joan Rivers is the ultimate queen of entertainment. She has outlasted everyone. She is an American treasure and anyone who bad-mouths her needs to move to Antarctica.

She doesn't make money to wish death on a group of innocent children from another country.

You think? I actually think her sisters are just kinda jealous, especially Towanda. But she's not my fave anymore (Traci and Trina are). Trina doesn't get a lot of love because she's the only one with a white guy & not making R&B music but she's like kind of the prettiest after Toni & uber love and seems to be the nicest gurl.

I recommend everybody to watch Joan's documentary, it's absolutely fascinating.

I don't even know what he's talking about. Is Matthew Knowles saying Beyoncé is using the divorce rumours to fuel the tour, and that's the "mind trick"? Or is he saying that Beyoncé and Jay Z's marriage is rocky and they actually may be getting a divorce, but are pretending to be fine in public, and that's the "mind trick"? Tina and Matthew have experience in the latter.
