Anyways I don't agree. This year was a bad year for music, sales were just terrible.
Mariah and Madonna shouldn't be on there. Their albums are not flops in terms of sales in music this year.

Sorry but PCD should be #1, theres no way that Mariah Carey's cd is more disappointing than theirs. They were focusing more on how disappointing the Danity Kane breakup was, not the actual album

E=MC˛ is my 3rd favorite album released this year, but yes it most certainly DOES belong on this list. Eli, are you out of your mind?!
It's not as good as The Emancipation, but what did you expect? It's a luxuriant, hook-ridden album that's easy on the ears from start to finish. Like Nick said, the era sucked, but the album itself doesn't deserve to be on any "worst" lists.

"I'm That Chick" is catchy as hell but it's one of the weakest tracks on the album IMO. Sounds like a B-side. "Side Effects" is great, though.
E=MC2 deserves a better sales figure. It's not as good as Mimi, but still one of the best album this year and I found myself enjoying it .
I would put PCD Doll Domination in the #1 spot .
E=MC2 should be #1 on that list. HC however is one of the best albums ever released. People will appreciate that piece of art in few years from now. "Give It 2 Me" , "Candy Shop", "Miles away" , "Beat Goes On", "Devil", "She's Not me" are all classics. People with poor taste can't instantly process its brilliance and feel the effort behind it. The only problem is that this was Madonna's weakest era promotion wise and that's why it's extremely underrated.
