Why do people use avis or signatures to "drag" ..

Example:

The person has a Britney Spears avi...

I just think.. It looks so stupid when people are like "not when ur avi is so and so" Why y'all do that?

Sometimes it's funny, but only when you're attacking a Stan & their taste.
It's really not funny when someone that Stan's for an untalented pop girl have to have their avi shoved down their throat for a critic on vocals or something.
