"We Found Love" by Rihanna was originally a Gospel song (Calvin Harris reworked it) according to Sam Smith.

I can totally see it being a gospel song. Hence why the song works so magnificently every time it is performed acoustically.

This poor song has been through so much. First it was a gospel song, then at one point Nicole Scherzy had it.
