Yes, thanks in part to gay icons One Direction and of course, the pop girls and "stan bases" becoming a thing.

I have always been relaxed with my friends. I think it has more to do with the fear of being called gay by others, and how 1D and this new bunch of boybands changed that vision.
Personally, I have always been comfortable with myself and around my mates, and being caled gay doesn't phase me as my gay friend is one of if not the balsier of us all, so I don't take it as an insult.

Yes, because it helps to erode perceptions of masculinity that say touching another man is inherently unmanly.

No, because it makes being gay a joke for straight men while not necessarily making them more open to gay men.
