Lead singles with hype/radio deals/promo performance always tend to do well. Doesn't say much about the potential of the rest of the album and its singles.
Taylor isn't someone I'd stan for but there is no denying that she is a gifted writer, who continues to work hard and of course her impact is undeniable. I use a lot of her songs too.
