To be fair, they should have cut to a commercial break after her acceptance or at least let someone else introduce Beyoncé. Gaga kinda ruined her moment, with the whole Jo Calderone act and she didn't need to add more to Britney's introduction about Beyonce.
I mean, she accepted the award during the FF era, so I guess I'm glad she didn't perform.
But all the speculation beforehand about Katy, Madonna, Janet, etc. performing her hits and then having Britney have to introduce some mediocre performance afterwards is what made it so disappointing for me.
They were trying to be sly and get back at her for not performing. Still got them their highest viewed show ever w/o performing herself. So glad brit's done with them. The kid/bey and gaga tribute was cute tho.
Ummm I think Gaga being promoted as the opening performance and Beyonce's pregnancy moment got them high ratings, not Britney. The GP doesn't even remember Britney being there, I doubt Britney even remembers being there.
Sure MTV was shady for that but they didn't put a gun in her to make her introduce Beyoncé.
