Back in the early 2000's and the 90's, the VMAs used to be the most epic thing ever

But now it's like it's just there. Only thing exciting tonight's vmas was Beyonce, Iggy, Rita, Nicki, Ariana, and Jessie J

Because pop music used to be interesting and fun.

Because Gaga and Rihanna didn't attend, it's pretty obvious...

Pop music is simply not good right now.

This gets asked every damn year.

And Gaga and Rihanna bring nothing to the awards.

In 10 years nostalgia will kick in and teens will say "Back in the 2010's, the VMAs used to be the most epic thing ever!1!!!!11!". It's a never-ending cycle.

Because we are watching the VMA's awaiting something crazy to happen when we shouldn't expect something each time we watch these shows or else we are left underwhelmed/disappointed

The VMAS have been pretty hot n cold for me, I remember not liking the 2008 one. This year my interest was kinda at an all time low tho I used to effortlessly tweet throughout the entire show. This year I made like 4 tweets, which was a struggle.

Every presenter was promoting him/herself all the time,the host or the guy with the stupid jokes was horrible.There could be better performers instead of Usher,5sos,Sam SMith
