Celebrities are dumb as hell. I wouldn't want any of them commenting on sociopolitical issues.
They were never agents of social change. That was always the people.
Celebrities like politicians are figureheads. Paid to do what's popular. They really are the most lowly people even though we're socialized to view them highly.

No, but they can help shed light on an issue. Just a lil quick single or article or vlog. Something. Its not hard.
The Ferguson situation is about police brutality in general though. It initiated with Mike Brown, but every 28 hrs an unharmed, black male is killed at the hands of the police.
It's not just one person. It's Mike Brown, Ezell Ford, Kajieme Powell, John Crawford, Eric Garner, and in retrospect: Sean Bell, Oscar Grant, Amadou Diallo, etc.
Ya know..... BOY am I tired of the latinos on here (who usually aren't even american citizens) having the nerve to sit here and call black people everything from thugs to apes to monkeys and try to act SOOOO dignified so they can seem down with the Yts. They take the self-hate they have for their race and try to push it on to black people, just so UPSET knowing they will never truly be white. I can't find Nicole's original post about this subject but a quote:
And don't @ me bitching. You shouldn't have a problem if this doesn't apply to you.

y Nicole View Post. Lol but it's funny how the Hispanic Army members always make fun of ... Southern Louisiana ass ain't gonna make you white! Just as you see black as apes, whites see you as window washers and gardeners who are lazy, eat refried beans and run across borders hihi.
