closeted guy?

I really like this guy who works at the mall. He goes to college 5 minutes from mine. He is very sexy. The problem is, he is out...like, really out! He is like the type of gays that say they are gay everywhere. I was wondering, would you date a closeted guy or have you ever dated one?

There's people that simply don't feel like telling the world that they're gay for many reasons and I respect all of them.

Well my boyfriend (of 18 months) is basically closeted and I see no difference. We even own our apartment together and his family/friends haven't guessed.

If he was fine yes. There's a closeted boy at my school that I would hop on in a second.

I'm not out but if I was I would have no problem dating a closeted boy. It takes time for people to come out and I wouldn't want to rush him/force him to come out if he wasn't ready.

Some gays are too quick to turn their nose up at closeted guys. There are varying degrees of being in the closet that people don't consider.

I think it's fine if they eventually want to come out and who they want to come out to.

No, and it was like that for six months. Sometimes I was like "omg we can't do _____ because he's not out to the world everything sucks this relationship sucks blablablah" and felt like forcing him to do it - he almost came out to his parents one time because of me but I told him not to do it. I just got used to it. Every people worth of telling knew we were dating and everything worked just fine. It isn't easy for everyone to come out as a gay person. Everybody has the right time to do so.
