Woman spend thousands to look like her caricature drawing
Quote:
When Krystina Butel decided to get her caricature done on holiday, she never thought she would spend the next fifteen years trying to look just like it.
Krystina, 30, has forked out over a whopping £130,000 on plastic surgery to transform herself into the CARTOON that she bought for a tenner in Ibiza.
This has included five boob jobs, lip injections, botox, teeth whitening and semi-permanent make-up. Salon owner Krystina even has heart shaped nipples to complete the look.
"Over the years, I've spent more and more on beauty treatments and surgery so I can look just like her."
Despite having blown a fortune already, Krystina is still obsessed with emulating the drawing.
She now plans to have an eyebrow lift, butt implants as well as further breast augmentations, botox, fillers and lip implants so she can resemble the artwork even more.
"My caricature keeps me going with my dream. She looks exactly how I want to look like. I know I'm closer to it now than I was fifteen years ago but there's always something else I can get in terms of surgery to be more like it.
"I can always rely on my caricature to show me what I need to do next. I never think that I'm done for good with my plastic surgery. She shows me that there's never enough."
Growing up, Krystina was a playful tomboy who showed no interest in her appearance.
She says: "As a child, I was never girly. I wore dungarees all the time. I loved doing boyish things like digging and playing outside.
"I had three brothers and was the only girl in the family, so my mum would try to make me look pretty. But I would just rip the ribbons out my hair and destroy my dress."
At the age of fourteen, Krystina left school early and got a job at a local salon as a hairdresser. It was at this point that she started growing more interested in her looks."
