This won't spread to first world countries, so definitely won't become a WW epidemic. It's only given through because of the bad hygiene situation in Africa. Hope they find a cure soon though or else more people there will get infected

It's 83% in the African countries so far, but if it did ever manage to spread to Europe or North America I think the fatality rate would be a lot lower since the healthcare is better in those countries.

I really hope they manage to get this under control asap though.

From what I've gathered they said nationals in those areas will be infected, not that people will be infected in first world countries.

Tbh it isn't too bad for MEDCs. It's not very infectious because it isn't airborne, the only reason it's so rife in West Africa is because there isn't good enough sewage infrastructure which makes it easy for body fluids to pass it on. Also healthcare procedures are different so they're more susceptible to it.

No, it could not easily spread. It's not highly contagious, and it's easily quarantined.
