She's not the best, but I don't think her vocals are that bad that she needs to sit there and watch the other members participating.
Wendy, Seulgi and Irene covered SES in this video, and Irene doesn't sound that bad.
Irene doesn't sing in that though. It's just Seulgi and Wendy. Though I hear someone who might be Joy at a few parts, but it could just be Seulgi purposely singing in a higher tone since it's only like 2 lines.
