I'm not the most confident person ever, and people have no problem with being rude or saying **** about me either to my face and behind my back. What I've noticed, as a pro-dragger, is that there are situations or details people know they're there but don't address. Trace their insecurities and confront them with it. If we're talking about dragging on here, trace the shortcomings of their fave and bring them forward, in a humorous witty way. If you don't have the confidence to do that, act like a person who has (keep a person in mind you know is really witty and confident and act like how they'd do it). Hope I helped

Example on the details no one pays attention to: There was this blond white girl who was always making mean remarks about my behaviour and how I was gay for liking Beyoncé. From what you said I think you are trying to learn how to defend yourself, not shading/dragging. Contrary to what some members are saying, you can learn how to defend yourself.

Personally I prefer staying classy and just ignoring everyone who's trying to attack me, because IMO that makes them angry.
