The same thing happened exactly 10 years ago 2004. Pop girls SLAYED 1998-2004 and then other genres took over (rap & rnb).
Now we had pop girls slaying 2008-2004 and it's only natural for this form of pop music to get tiring to the masses.
However, THIS IS NOT BAD. Pop will never be low brow and will always find a way to adapt so in the next 5 years we will see major changes in style with our pop girls while they adapt and charge for the next attack in 2018.
