The movie was far too rushed. The new stories were pointless and didn't make since. The only good part of the film was the A Dame To Kill For Bit and even that got chopped and screwed. The first film was one of my favorites ever. While entertaining, this just didn't live up to the original or the comics. It deserved to flop. They should have adapted Hell and Back. This could have been so much better than it was.
I just saw this, it was really really REALLY good.
I can't believe I am saying this but far better than the first. The use of 3D was really cool too. The acting was really good some stand-outs were Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson, Eva Green and probably the best performance by Jessica Alba she's ever done. The stories are more fun and less campy than the first movie. I loved this film and I'm sad it's bombing. I hope it revives.
