nnnn
Somebody put this boy in an "It Gets Better" ad
I'm 22. I graduated high school 5 years ago hahahaha.
So, I'm fine now. Completely out and have been living an openly gay life for 4 years. I was just saying that I rarely cry now, if ever, because I developed such thick skin during high school, which made me really resilient towards crying.
It's not just because I'm gay though. It's being a man in general. Society tells us that boys don't cry, and conditions men to not show emotions. Consequently, regardless of my sexuality, it's rare for men to cry, so it's hard for me to honestly say what I look like crying because it never happens.

True. I cry all the time though. Already wept like a baby once today watching The Office finale. And I've seen it five times before.
OT: I don't really scrunch up my face that much when I cry so I assume I don't look terrible. But if I'm really upset then I become a snotty blubbering mess like the rest of the population.
