ATRL only cares about Western Europe because that's where female popstars are usually most successful. Europe loves it's pop girls.
i just find it funny that whenever discussing anything...the US is always up against a collective Europe and never just against another European country

Yeah they clearly decided to go with Dan in the last minute. Someone made a video of all the times that it didn't made sense Dan being the Gossip Girl in the story, it was like 15 different situations.
I still love the show tho.
But there were some reasons it could've made sense, like when on the first episode you actually saw him on GossipGirl.com. And how he was that kid that nobody really knew, but he knew all of them.

If Usher is a one-album wonder, then people like Justin, Beyonce, Rihanna and the rest don't have any hit albums. Sorry, but albums such as My Way and 8701 were very successful albums.
None of those two albums made the year-end top 10. Confessions remains his only album to do it. Even Rihanna has done it with multiple albums and so has Justin.

Why does an album have to make a year-end Top 10 to be successful? There was definitely more than 10 successful albums per year then, correct?
Both were also released during Fall each year, so there sales were split between 1997/1998 & 2001/2002.
Both still sold over 6 million and 4 million which would respectively be enough to make year-end Top 10's in 1997 and 2001 if they had a full year (like Confessions).
