Nick Cannon is the one who decided to bail on his marriage -- not Mariah -- sources connected with the couple tell TMZ.
Nick has made it clear to all involved ... he's deeply concerned about Mariah's emotional state and is ending the marriage for the well being of their kids. He believes the environment around Mariah is toxic and fears for his kids.
We're told Nick believes his kids have already shown signs of emotional upset living with Mariah.
Can't we just ignore everything that includes the sentence 'sources connected to' ?
From a legality stand point that's smart to leak the info out as a close source to get around that gag order.. For all we know it literally could be Nick talking to them but if he doesn't go on the record they can't print it so he has his people reach out to the media to spread this info out.
But obviously everything we'll hear will be from Nicks perspective since Mariah will probably not say a thing about this, am sure this could even work against him.
