She did mishandle Tamera though, and I'm not just saying this because I dislike Nicole. I mean Tamera has a deal with Sony now and Simon and Cheryl both see potential in her and would've handled her better than Nicole would've. She oozes star potential but lacked guidance during her time on the show.

Tamera should have won.
The season was SO boring & obvious. Even Louis wasnt supporting his OWN act @ the finals. He was rooting for Sam - it was known Sharon was gonna be the winning judge.

They didnt lie tho. Look at what Cheryl did with Alexandra Burke, Rebecca ferguson and especially Cher Lloyd. As Simon said once no one would've been able to do what cheryl did with Cher. She would've done an amazing job with Tamera who got really bad choices she was the only good thing from last year's series.

What a BS statement. Ofcourse Simon would have done a better job, he basically owns the show. He could have given her a blowing up stage with tons of dancers and a dancing crocodile etc.

Nicole did her ebst with Tamara, but let's not forget Tamara also was a trainwreck to remember her lyrics. Maybe Simon would have taken her to the finals, but at what cost? I feel she would have been forced to sing songs wih easy lyrics etc. Nicole actually tried to give her the chance to overcome herself. In her own worth and tempo, whcih is worth more than going into the circus that is Simon Cowell.

Also it feels like a really basic and easy dig. He knows that there is drama between Nicole and Cheryl, to bring this up, he knows he gets those headlines and people talking. Simon would go over dead bodies if it would gain him something tbh.

Tamera messed up. It was HER chance to make it. It's not Nicole's fault if the girl is stupid enough to forget her words.

"Impossible" is such an easy song and the girl forgot the damn chorus.

And she wasn't likeable at all by the way.

It's kinda true tho, Tamera had so much potential and I feel like it was never shown properly.

Nicole was a really good mentor/judge, probably the best mentor/judge the show has ever had but yeah, she didn't choose the right songs for Tamera and Tamera messed up too.

Simon/Cheryl would've taken her through to the final but what Nicole was trying to do was way above trying to "be successful mentors and have an act in the final". She was actually working hard with her to help her overcome her fears and insecurities. She has got huge star potential but she wasn't 100% ready for the show. She had great song choices in the beginning but not even then people loved her that much as everyone thought. She was NEVER top 3 in the voting, even after Ain't nobody, Beneath your beautiful or Listen and all 3 of those were amazing.

And yeah, maybe Cheryl would've taken her to top 3 and then avoid her after the show a la Cher, Katie, Rebecca, Alexandra... the same goes for Simon - is he even talking to acts he mentored (besides Leona, 1D...)?

Oh please, i liked Tamera at first, but she was useless.

Its a stupid comment to make but Tamera wasn't mentored brilliantly, which I don't blame Nicole for, I think the producers are heavily involved in the 'mentor' decisions.

Tamera started well with the proper popstar vibe in week 1, then it seemed to switch and they started to market her as a Leona Lewis singer, when she isn't that type of performer, thats where it went wrong.
