Resident Evil Revelations 2 is reportedly on the way, with a leaked box art image and screenshot revealing the sequel.
French website Gamer in a Box noticed that Xbox.com hosted two media images for Resident Evil Revelations 2, pulling back the curtain on the survival horror game. IGN has reached out to Capcom about the leak, inquiring about what platforms the sequel is planned for.
Capcom announced today that upcoming zombie-themed game Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be released episodically, somewhat like Telltale Games' popular Walking Dead series.
Building on the way in which the original Resident Evil: Revelations told its story across TV-like episodes, the sequel takes things further. The game is composed of four main chapters, each of which will be released as individual episodes--one per week.
Episodes will sell for $6 each, or you can buy the "Complete Season" for $25. If you bought every episode individually, it would cost $24. So what does spending the extra dollar get you?
This bundle includes the four chapters and some "additional game content," which will be announced later. Once the four episodes are released, Capcom will launch a disc-based version of Revelations 2, featuring the four chapters and additional content, for $40.
I hope this features Billy, the poor sis has been forgotten for years This could also include Rebecca and Barry to tie in with the REmaster, but I would like Claire and Jill instead.
I highly doubt this is only on 360. Xbox.com tends to leak box arts before anyone else.
I am sure it will be on PS3 and PC too. If that screenshot is ingame it could very well be a true console title graphics wise.

Yeah this is giving me an Alien: Isolation tea. Info on that game was first leaked on the Xbox store but it's coming out on every major console
Earlier this morning my issue of the November Gamesmaster Magazine turned up in the post and with it were some exciting details for the recently announced Resident Evil: Revelations 2, set for release early 2015 for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Many of the details revealed include the return of Claire Redfield, the daughter of Barry Burton, plot and enemy details and much more. This information was revealed when Gamesmaster sat down with Resident Evil: Revelations 2 producer Michiteru Okabe.
Claire Redfield will return as the playable lead and it is said that “In the time since we last saw her (Claire), she’s grown to be a seasoned veteran.”
Claire will be joined throughout the campaign with Moira Burton, daughter of the legendary Barry Burton.
The campaign will be playable in co-op or singleplayer.
When playing as Claire, her style will be more combat focused. Whereas Moira will be supplying Claire with health herbs, provided the flashlight and general support.
Claire will be the only player death that will result in a Game Over, one of Moira’s key roles will be to help keep Claire alive (though Claire can obviously heal herself).
The story will take place on an abandoned island detention facility.
The campaign will begin with Claire and Moira awakening after being abducted.
The events will take place between the events of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6.
Gameplay will be much more Survival Horror orientated (much like the first Resident Evil: Revelations), bringing the series back to its roots with less over the top action, unlike Resident Evil 5 and 6.
Fan feedback has played a part in the development of Resident Evil: Revelations 2.
Producer Okabe said that “The project has been finding the line between listening to fan feedback and also doing something different to confound expectations.”
I finished REvelations and I'm so pissed REv2 isn't coming to the Wii U
I loved how REvelations made you backtrack to get that one item you needed or a weapon that was available on the other side of the ship. By the time you were in the middle of the game there were so many routes you could take on the Queen Zenobia so it felt like a real connected environment you were playing in.
And I TOTALLY called this game was going to explain what happened between 5 and 6
and Chris' story arc is pretty much finished.
I think they finally got the memo.
