**** pop was just Keshas ******** way of saying she wanted to go more pop rock so yeah you just admitted it yourself. I don't really get country vibes from it either
It's far more country than rock. "Burnin' rubber on the southern highway," how is that not country? "Daisy dukes showin' off my ass," it's like her take on a classic male country song that objectifies women, singing about trucks and girls, etc. It's not rock. Country rock at the absolute most.
Gold Trans Am is noooot country Like, it has influences? But could never be described legitimately as "country".
She objectifies herself in more songs than that, too? That makes no difference.
The song is definitely more inspired by classic rock
I haven't listened to LG in forever. or warrior in general tbh. It didn't really have much longevity for me. Like I still play Animal in its entirety very regularly
I don't know any classic rock songs that sound like GTA but I know tons of country songs that have that vibe so... pretty sure it's straight out of a Tennessee songbook.
Actually the drum beat does sound like a classic rock song I guess (mainly We Will Rock You by Queen), lyrically the song is very country. The chorus is straight-up country tho. The entire thing has a country twang vibe to it, too. It's a country rock song.
I've never got any country vibes from Gold Trans Am at all. I've always seen it as a water down arena/**** rock song that was influenced by Queen because of the "We Will Rock You" sample.
Also, lyrics don't make a song a genre. With that logic, California Gurls is a country song because she mentions daisy dukes and a truck as well.

The chords (especially the chorus) are very country-esque. If Kesha had done an acoustic version on guitar it would be deemed a country song.
I'm starting to love the duet version of Suicide more than the original version Her and Lagen need to do more songs together/songs with the two of them need to leak more
