LiveLeak is supposed to be free of these constraints... it's LiveLeak, it's supposed to show the unfiltered truth, unlike other sites...

Who cares who uploaded it? Are they going to take down all the other dozens of beheading videos on their site? Nope, they are all staying up. So they are either just paying mouth service or have been pressured into this.

The latter isn't so far-fetched really, I can imagine the US Gov contacting them about posting any video of the second American

Um, who cares? That's not the reason, this is specifically targeting ISIS videos, they don't care if some Russians or Mexicans chop off a dude's head.

I think there's been pressure from the US Gov't I don't believe LiveLeak would take this down by themselves, it's only served to bring traffic and fame to their site, such gruesome videos are the whole point of LiveLeak.
