I must be the only one who thinks it's better than anything on Red tbh.
Let's flashback to when "We're Never Ever Getting Back Together" came out and ATRL was like "is this **** gonna do anything new all she's doing are break up songs"
now she finally releases a pop song thats not about love and you all wanna demonize her. If this was released by any of your faves you'd all praise them
Because going full pop, it departs her from the point where she excels the best, mixing genres.
Now she is considered by many a faceless Max Martin product.

ok and? Country is dated and stale nobody hasnt checked for it since the 90s after Shania Twain
I don't think it shows her song writing talent, and it's basic, and it has that repetitive self-empowerment message, it's safe, it's full on pop etc.
I actually quite like the song
P.S I don't think it's better than anything on Red - Treacherous, State of Grace, Holy Ground

A lot of people here stan for faceless Max Martian (or derivatives) products so idk what their problem is
Also, the majority of ATRL seems to think that anything that isn't serious is for 12 year old girls and automatically is unlistenable. Gosh, I love loving fun music.
