Sis, I don't blame you for not seeing it till now! Worst movie for the BEST HP book.

I don't understand why did they cut a Quidditch scene with Ron from Order of the Phoenix? It is the best book and they screwed up the movie sooo much

The fourth book should of been two parts. It had so much detail...and they made fleur ugly...I was pissed.

Most of those characters deserved to be left out

Ginny should have been #1. Ginny was meant to look like this:





And be really sexual/desirable. They should have just cast Lindsay considering she did such a great job of a British accent in 'The Parent Trap' - and maybe if they had cast her, she wouldn't have gone off the rails and completely ****ed up her life.

Thing with Ginny is that I think they case her before books 5 and 6 were out? So they didn't know she'd be playing a bigger role in those films, whilst out of the early books the only one she plays a big role in is book 2, so maybe if they knew she was going to play a bigger role later on they would have casted someone different. But I think the actress did a good job personally.

I think the books overall are way better than the films, but I guess that's simply because they're more in-depth, the films have to simplify things to keep it interesting and fit it into normal movie length.

If I were to read the books which books do you recommend?

I was so upswt they didn't use Ginny and Harry's relationship more in the movie. Also the Teddy thing >>>>
He wasn't even mentioned in the movie

They screwed up on so many places

The HP books have always been superior to the movies, period. The books have just too much content for 2h movie, and that's why we need a TV series (GoT style).
But hey, at least Ron was played by the best actor of the trio.

I don't know if it was just me.

But the absolute demolition of Winky the house elf in the films made me so upset.
She was critical in the fourth book since she was accused of setting off the dark mark.

Book Ginny is a fierce young girl that doesn't let no man dictate ha life
Except her childhood crush
Which is the only questionable part of her character (that she was supposed to get over him and move on to be a greater person, but she didn't )
Movie Neville is hot for like 20 minutes

I've always wondered, if she commited suicide after the last time she was mentioned in the OOTP. I don't think JK would've put such content in the book, but for some reason it felt like it

the biggest fkn question is why they cut the Quidditch WORLD CUP in Goblet of Fire,that was epic in the books,also there was no mention of Winky tho and they completely butchered the entire story about Barty Crouch and Barty Crouch Jr

this is why Goblet of fire and Order of phoenix deserved TWO MOVIES

the first movie was epic

third movie - the MARAUDERS era got butchered,that era is important like wtf

Goblet of fire- so many things got fked up,that book is full of everything

Order - the book had like what more then 750 pages right ? and what did we got ? SHORTEST HP movie the whole fight in the ministry in the movie was in the book was much more epic,same goes to Voldemort vs Dumbledore in the book

Half blood prince - don't even get me started on this one

Deathly Hallows - completely fked up Dobby's character in the movies,didn't have the same impact on people who only watched the movies like it had an impact on every damn reader Fred,Tonks,Lupins' deaths Bellatrix vs Molly was way longer in the book

also Voldy vs Harry was much MUCH more epic in the book,the entire conversation from the books,where was it

completely butchered battle at Hogwarts WHERE WAS KREACHER and others elfs

Harry throwing away the Elder wand at the end of the movie was the biggest BS ever in the book you had entire conversation between Harry and Dumbledore's portrait and where he said he's going to put it back where it belongs (aka Dumbledore's grave )

the movies are a DAMN MESS
