So a few weeks ago a guy starting to call at my house. The first time he called my father picked up the phone and the guy asked him to speak to me. When I said: Hi! he answered: Hi Ma'am I'd like to speak to X (my name)" (so he didn't know my voice). I reacted quickly and repied: He is not at home now. Sorry!
The following day he called again at the exact same time and my mum told him not to call again because there's no one by that name in the house. Fortunately she managed to write down the guy's phone number and gave it to me. After I did my research I found out that he lives 5 blocks near my house but the creepy thing is that I don't know anyone who lives on that street

Note: I have never shared my phone number on any site (not even on Facebook)

Actually happening right now.
I'm being called like 5 times a day (even at 1 am) and I don't wanna pick up cuz I'm scared someone will threaten me or **** lmao. I watch too many films probably... but still it's weird.
And sometimes he/she leaves a voicemail with minutes of silence.

It's really frustrating because there's nothing you can do to stop it. I hope it does stop though.

Since you're from the Netherlands I actually know what that is, it's telemarketeers, I had the same problem, during the day, during the night, an anonymous number kept calling and as soon as I picked up they hung up or there was silence... I once talked to someone from my provider and they told me sometimes those machines continue dialling numbers even when there's no one at work or they don't even want to reach you, it's a bug in the system

I got a call from an unknown number yesterday thats about it though. One time I got a text from a long distance number that said 'hey baby im sooo hot and waiting for u to call me [phone #]'

This happened to me 4 years ago. The guy called my mobile and knew my name. The first time, after I asked who he was, he said that he had "a crush on me for a while." He also described the outfit that I had been wearing that day and said some obscene things about my hair, lips, boobs and ass.

I hung up on him and he kept calling back, always from a "private" number. A couple of times he left voice mails with creepy messages, other times it was silence and heavy breathing for several minutes.

This kept on going for about two weeks. I had to change my number, which sucked because I had one of the easiest numbers you could imagine.

I never heard back from this person, but a few months ago I got an email from someone who immediately reminded me of that creepy situation. It has left me pretty spooked out, to be honest.

I accidentally called the wrong number and this guy was like
"I see you and you better stop calling" in this deep ass voice
"I got my gun waiting" and I hung up

Looking back at what happened.. I think my friends might have pranked me..
