Frankly I hope a horrible calamity befalls Apple and that iPods and Macs will just regarded as cool gadgets from times past, like Sega Genesis, Smith-Corona typewriters or Betamax tapes...
I'd rather have a TRUE computer in the format of a tablet (and thus compatible with the millions of windows apps), than be stuck with Angry birds sized apps on a IOS tablet.
