Gaga just posted a selfie with the caption "my room is lovely it has a piano so I can write songs"
She's finally writing songs properly again!!!! and not over a pre produced beat

This might be a good sign tbh the best Gaga songs started with just her and her piano, very organic.
With that being said, I still bop to Swine

She looks normal a lot of the time. She has a jazz album of duets with Tony Bennett coming out next month!

I feel like her voice suits this kind of music though. I heard her last duet with Bennett and she was pretty ****ing flawless with it.

She's actually really talented, not enough people give her credit. Has an awesome voice.

I agree, I really didn't care for her after hearing the radio hits. Then I stumbled upon this live performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7HvURBhMGE
Great voice, and a great performer!

According to the stans Gaga has said anything and everything imaginable
If it were all true she'd have released 3 more LPs by now, 10 more videos and would have collaborated with about 90 other people

What should be remembered is that Gaga is unlikely to ditch pop altogether - it's simply a change in production. From dance to rock, but it's still pop and it's still Gaga writing it - so expect big hooks and catchy melodies regardless.
I personally think rock/pop is ideal for her next move. Top 40 is in a very light, pop-y place right now with little depth or theatricality. It's feel good. Logically, people will get tired of the empty calorie hits and crave something a bit more filling and bite. It could either go edgy in an urban/R&B way, or edgy in a rock/pop way. Or both - that's what happened in the 00s. We're hearing fresher, instrumental and less synthy production...which I think will lead to guitars and drum beat. What I doubt it will do is return to dance, or soften to welcome more Adele's or Lorde's.
Regardless of trend though, I think it's a strong, authentic direction. We know it's in her blood and she actually has slight cred in the territory because of being a vocal fan and being praised by rock legends. It would allow her to return with attitude and defiance, rather than 'is this ok?' safe pop. People will see the weakness in her working with hitmakers and attack.
I'd love to hear Gaga doing her versions of Show Must Go On, Fighter, Bring Me Back To Life, Just Like A Pill etc, or lighter stuff like Since U Been Gone etc. Obviously done in her own way. I'm here for big stadium rock anthems, intimate raw ballads and belting love songs. Personal lyrics, incredible vocals and attitude. With a killer look to match.

Her makeup lately has been really good (Tara Savelo hi), it's just her outfits that have been miss and hit.

I'd die for Gaga songs like that. The reason I love BTW the album so much is because of the songs like that, TEOG, MTN, Y&I... She really excels when it comes to pop rock anthems. I need more, I'm dying for it.

Not really, i love her pop/dance sound.
Even if radio is tired of it.

I like her dance music as well, but DWUW has me itching for some more electro urban tracks.

Sis, most of her songs are written like that. 90% of ARTPOP was written like that.

We already have evidence of Aura, Applause and Donatella (and possibly DWUW) instrumentals existing before she had fully fleshed out the songwriting. You can instantly tell the whole thing's inorganic, as opposed to sings like Poker Face, Paparazzi, Eh Eh, Bad Romance and Telephone which translated so well acoustically.

The only thing that makes me really sad is that I'm 22 and the fact that Gaga won't be releasing anymore Pop music until I'm like 24 is so depressing.
Once the ARTPOP era ended, there's just like no going back. I feel so torn about it all..

Only Ariana can fix my broken Pop heart right now..
