I feel like She just about toes the line with the "Shake It Off" without becoming racially problematic, but I do think it's kind of uncomfortable, and I can see why people see it as Her appropriating black culture. But Her team is insanely clever, and all the smoke and mirrors surrounding that scene (which they know would be provocative, that's why they made it the screencap image) with the cheerleaders/ballet/etc etc kind of pre-emptively justifies the twerking and the *shudders* crawling underneath the dancers with a look of fascination. And in Her interviews She's already subtly stressed these justifications. She's having Her cake and eating it too.

Not only is this racist, she sprinkled Black folks like a product placement .
At a time of racial discord in this country, Taylor had the audacity to release a Pop Video.
Remember she did it with Red too, she released an album during Hurricane Sandy.
That Taylor Swift she's so cold, calculating and insensitive.
Please note, I'm not making light of the Ferguson situation. It is a serious matter.
Just making fun of the non-black critics sounding like stupid asses. They built this narrative based from a ( no one ever heard of before his comment) rapper who just wanted media attention. How gullible of them. They make me feel uncomfortable.
To the bloggers who lurk on this base. Black girl here.
