That was my thought as well. Taylor's performance will have a cheerleader theme.

But...this is going to be Taylor's first performance of her "New Pop Era". She NEEDS to make an impact to show that she can hang with the biggest women in Pop. Taylor is going to be judged on her performance more than any other VMA performer that night.

Taylor CAN deliver. But she may just think that a fun/cute performance will be enough. I hope she takes some risks. We'll see.
