One flop era =/= a career in danger whether you like it or not. iHype you of all people should know that. Gaga had a BAD era there's nothing else to say about it. People weren't her for her. Stans jumped ship, there's no denying that but that does not change the fact that she is a hugely powerful artist. Why else would she be ranked at #4 on press and #5 on social if she was losing power? @iHype idgi

The lowest of the low would be for her to go back to RedOne. He isn't even making smashes for anyone these days anyway (or remotely decent songs, for that matter), so there'd be no point.

The ARTPOP era is over and what happened happened. The faster y'all accept it, the better for you. I know some of you are so thirsty to see her on the charts again because you all can't accomplish anything on your own so you just consider her success as an accomplishment for you too, but she won't have major success any time soon. Fact.
Accept it and you won't keep having meltdowns everyday for the next 2 years.

Because all these people care about are #1 singles. Forget the sold-out world tour or the 2.5m albums sold, she didn't score a #1 so she's obviously irrelevant. She's not doing a massive tour like last time when she BROKE HER HIP so she's obviously over!

This was her flop era. GODPOP is iconic though.

Gaga went from top of the world, bigger than every one else to a popstar who is selling just as many albums as everyone else. That's not a dangerous decline.

She's simply no longer on top.

It's all ego, sis. Their fave didn't give them anything to brag about so now they feel dumb stanning for someone who isn't #1.

Maybe in twenty years when hopefully none of this matters they will look back and enjoy the music for what it is.

This reminds me, I was reading about that post about that Mohombi guy leaving RedOne's trainwreck of a label, and he said something to the effect of "bullsh*t always prevails over talent, so if you're talented you got to find a way to bullsh*t" and I instantly thought of Gaga. The Fame era was bullsh*t, but amazing bullsh*t, as is her persona. All she would really need to do is wear her hair and makeup in a flattering way, wear nice, albeit slightly edgy clothes and start showing up to events - this alone would garner good press on trash sites that everyone uses like Daily Mail. Release an ear worm of a song, and there you go.

This IS her flop era and I'm not denying it. Aren't you a Mariah Carey stan? Do you remember Glitter? was that not a dangerous decline? Gaga can have a comeback just as successful as that and if you haven't noticed already, C2C is already top 10 in the US due to pre orders.
