While most concerts are now aglow with phones and tablets, Bush is taking a stand against fans watching her shows through the digital veil of a screen.

Bush wrote on her website: "I have a request for all of you who are coming to the shows. We have purposefully chosen an intimate theatre setting rather than a large venue or stadium. It would mean a great deal to me if you would please refrain from taking photos or filming during the shows.

I've never understood people who watch the entire concert through their phones and film the entire thing They're never gonna watch that low quality crap back anyway, so what's the point? Get it on DVD or just seize the moment. It's fine imo if you capture your favourite bit or something to take a memory, but to constantly have it in your hand is a no from me.

When I go to a concert, I want to enjoy the show, the singer, the athmosphere, not pay attention to my phone or something.

This is stupid. If I pay $10 for Kate's show or $200 for Beyonce's, I have the right to bring my phone and record so I have a memento of the show.
