Hmm, yes and no.
You could see she got a huge fan base cuz' each single she released on iTunes sold like 160k-200k but I wasn't expecting almost 600k first week sales.
Yes and no. It was hard for me to believe that a relatively new artist like Taylor could pull such big sales like that, but I also keep in mind that most of the songs were released to iTunes as singles, so when the album was finally released, the "Complete My Album" feature looks more enticing, since a lot of people bought all the singles; therefore, are paying less money for the remainder of the album.
Either way, I love the album, and I think Taylor deserved all those sales.
I'm shocked. I mean 600K is huge for an artist who's been in the scene for only two years. What I'm most shocked about though, is her second week sales. 300K?
