I didn't appreciate the gratuitous, black ass twerk scene, and I actually stopped the video at that point, because I thought that was the only thing that the black women would be doing. So, for example, there were no black ballet dancers. But then as I pressed play again, I saw a black rhythmic gymnast and a black cheerleader, and a black modern dancer. So, it made the black ass twerk close up shot did seem less egregious. I am conflicted, none the less. The Katy video didn't bother me because she and her back up dancers were all on the same footing, but like I said, I'd be lying if I said that Taylor twerk scene didn't bother me.

But there were black girls doing the color guard stuff, and I think in the cheerleading scene. And there were black guys represented. I was kind of bothered by the lack of a black ballerina though.

And to be fair I kind of think she was taking a jab at the craziness of Miley with that scene.
