She never had anything to sell out. She was just as awful and bland as a country star as she is as a "country" star now. The only plus to her being country is that her sings used to be mostly relegated to country radio stations and away from my ears. Now that she's going full-on pop the dirge that is current Top 40 radio is going to become even more dirgy.

Am sort of interested in hearing this Imogen Heap sing. I mean Taylor's contributions are bound to be garbage but Imogen might make it tolerable.

It's a shame her album delays caused her to resort to sully her good name and work with Taylor to pay her bills.

Taylor's new song is nice, it seems like it will get old fast though. Mariah's "Shake It Off" remains supreme.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together at least showed some semblance of personality. Shake It Out is about as anonymous and derivative as a Pink song.

It will. She was able to fall back on the country(-esque) promo singles leading up to Red. There was still a twang there and going by the album's first week her fans obvz responded. They're gonna know something's up now. She'll release pop song after pop song after pop song and her casual fans will nawt be happy about it.
