Both are overrated but WFL is the most overrated song on this website, and even with its airplay was unable to make IFPI. Bad Romance and Tik Tok both had considerably less airplay and were split between two years but both still made IFPI (with higher sales than WFL's total in their second years).

I honestly hear Toxic on the radio more often than WFL. Honestly.

The ultra generic We Found Love

Toxic is a flawless pop record. Anyone that disputes it is deaf.

And yet that all those weeks at #1 didn't transcend into sales. Not even going to bother with the word 'impact' because that word has no real merit on this website (next to iconic)

Both are really great pop songs, but Toxic is next level. It was super ahead of it's time and still manages to sound unique a decade later. WFL capitalized on the EDM trend.. it's definitely the best offering from the EDM craze era but it was still a really convenient song.

Toxic. I find it fairly annoying. The high pitch electro and her falsetto don't go hand in hand.
