The worst part was the backdrop during the BTW/EY performance. She literally made fun of Gaga's fans and that's just ******** considering how young a lot of them are.
Gaga's too smart to play Madonna's games. Madonna only collaborates with younger artists to use them for attention. While artists like Katy don't care to be used, Gaga's not about that. She'll work with people who respect her talent, not want to use it for their own personal gain.

I'm pretty sure digital sales don't count towards charts, but they probably count for the total sales of an album.
I do believe digital sales are not particularly high in Japan.
