The Japan Gold Disc Awards are an annual ceremony hosted in Japan. The winner are based by sales provided by The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). Gaga has received nine nominations and has won nine awards
If you like Cher, stan her, or simply casually fan her, I invite you to vote in the awards! The nominations are due to me by Saturday, August 23rd at 10:00 PM CST, and then the winner votes due to me by Saturday, August 30th at 10:00 PM CST. Even if you aren't a big enough Cher fan to want to nominate, ALL MEMBERS may vote for the winners.
So, Little Monsters, I invite you once more to participate in the 2014 ATRL Cher Crew Awards. I hope to see you having fun in the awards thread and voting your heart out!
How was my sales pitch? I need to use it a few more times to get more stanbases to vote

omg I listened to Heart of Stone the album yesterday for the first time. I might have to stan Cher soon.
the GUY video served the hottest looks of her career tho
But, uh, that's from the ARTPOP era and you can't like anything from the ARTPOP era. You must only pay attention to the negative things about the ARTPOP era!
Jokes aside, the GUY video is the prettiest she's ever looked in a video.
This look is my fave even though it's nothing but a gold bathing suit.

Madonna was being Madonna with her BTW "reductive" comment on ABC and in her answers about Gaga in other interviews (I'd even let the "I'm glad I could help her write it" bitchy comment go), but on the tour singing BTW/EY followed by She's Not Me and then having segments of riling up her crowd by saying anti-Gaga stuff... I was seriously shocked how petty a supposed legend could be towards a new artist.
The worst part was the backdrop during the BTW/EY performance. She literally made fun of Gaga's fans and that's just ******** considering how young a lot of them are.

Me too. I'm sure Madonna wouldn't mind doing anything with Gaga but Gaga is too prideful and likely still hurt pluuuuuus there was too much cattiness and attention brought from both sides. It is important to note that while Madonna shaded Gaga, she also purposefully shaded herself by performing the song Express Yourself sampled. Too much has happened though, I'm afraid, and I don't think Stef will be forgiving anytime soon.
Gaga's too smart to play Madonna's games. Madonna only collaborates with younger artists to use them for attention. While artists like Katy don't care to be used, Gaga's not about that. She'll work with people who respect her talent, not want to use it for their own personal gain.
I know she made the right call in moving on from the album/era, but a part of my heart is always going to be questioning where my beloved single is (as well as the Do What U Want music video).

Everything about this post.
Honestly, I'd do the same thing if I were in Gaga's shoes. I mean it would be amazing if a pressed legend got jealous of me. I'd be proud of myself tbh. I'm glad Gaga refused to perform with her. I like Madonna, don't get me wrong, but what she did was childish.
Damn, that guy got some really good video. (The audio could be better, but the video is great!)

I absolutely adore how much Asia overall loves Gaga. It's very encouraging and I completely understand why Gaga loves it there so much.
Ooo and I just love how they added a fan for her hair during Venus. It really adds to the Aphrodite look. It makes it look like she's down by the sea, just emerging from the water.
Oh and for those who actually care about her weight so much, you notice how much thinner she looks in these Korean videos? Ya, that's actually what she looks like in person. And yes, I would know. It really doesn't matter, but some people do care about these things for whatever reason.
From 3:19
"Whenever I come to Korea, before I go on stage, sometimes they give me rules you know. And they say, don't talk about certain things because you know, some people might not like it.
But I don't give a **** what everybody likes. There are gay kids in Korea, there is a LGBT community in Korea and YOU DESERVE TO BE ****ING EQUAL"

Korea's more conservative than even the most conservative states in America, so her saying this is a pretty big deal. LGBT kids in Korea don't really have a lot of resources, people to talk to, or even people to tell them that being LGBT is perfectly okay. What a QUEEN! When people complain about Gaga being "too gay" or that she should "stop talking about gays", I think of the LGBT kids in places like Korea who need someone like Gaga telling them it's okay. I wish I had Gaga when I was a teenager.
