Lmao Breakaway obviously, it had four classic top 10 hits and sold 12+ million worldwide in 2005/2006. Oops was literally released in the exact few months that album sales were at their peak and only had one real hit.

Not four classic Top 10 hits. Only Since U Been Gone is memorable and even that was pretty much local to the US. Lucky was huge in Europe and Stronger did fairly well too.

Even if we use TEAs to make up for the sales decline from 2000 to 2004, Oops still comes out on top by a large margin. And 20.5M is almost twice the amount as 11M so there's no comparison really. Cute attempt though.

Breakaway, Since U Been Gone and Because of You are huge recurrents and so is Behind These Hazel Eyes to a lesser extent. The only remembered songs from Oops are the title track and maybe Lucky but that's only from people who are old enough to remember TRL because those songs get literally zero recurrent play. If you want to use Mediatraffic stats but claim Breakaway only had local hits then why did Because of You make the all time chart but no songs from Oops did?

Also how would TEAs make sense in this comparison when the digital singles market wasn't very big yet but illegal downloading was already massive by 2005? Breakaway was a bigger and more memorable era overall sorry sweetie it's just the truth

OIDIA was much bigger than Breakaway. OIDIA and Lucky are more memorable than anything from Breakaway. OIDIA album sold twice what Breakaway sold. OIDIA had a bigger WW tour. OIDIA had one iconic performance st VMAs. OIDIA had one of the best pop videos of all time, OIDIA. OIDIA holds record for biggest debut week by a female artist. Britney was everywhere.

Breakaway had 5 platinum singles and two memorable singles, Since You Been Gone and Because of You. BA had No iconic performance, no iconic outfits, no iconic video.
