Don't delude yourself, for Heaven's sake. :-/ It's not like people didn't know where to find her CD! Considering the poor demand for the album, it could have sold AT MOST around 10-15k copies more if it was available everywhere... 150k? LMFAO, what have you been smoking?

73,000 for one chain store is ok in my book, no one is expectng it to sell a lot but you got to figure in not every city has a target. I dont think you can deny that it would have sold a bit more sold a bit more if added to the other stores that was listed..
Target only has 6% of sales when it comes to music so what it did was fine

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all the real BIG US markets have at least ONE Target? That's why I said it would have sold something like 10k copies if it was available at other stores.
Target being 6% or 60% doesn't make that much of a difference anywayz. As far as I know RCA didn't ship only 80k copies so the album simply isn't selling as it should, considering who Christina is.

Nice for Casting Crowns Power of CCM! <333333 Does anyone know how Fireflight and Skillet did?
All of a sudden T-Pain got 160K....well, I still think it's gonna flop.
Nice 600K debut for Taylor, but she'll only get 1 week on top and then she'll make way for Nickelback to take over #1 next week. I know some of you aren't the biggest fans of them in the world, but you gotta admit that they do really well sales-wise

P!nk is doing fine. She is still holding strong - 50k is good. Til now she`ve sold 313k in US only. And all the promotion due the few next weeks will help her sell a lot more, and maybe even outsell IND in US

I dont think so but i am not completly sure. I know it austin a city of 1.6 million we have two Targets up North where i live.
Hell even B2b dvd sold 18000 as a exclusive at Best Buy so I dont see how you can say the stores would not have much of a impact.

T-Pain actually did good. Epiphany debuted with 171k, this album 163k. Only 8k difference in a matter of a year, and that without the usual back to back top five and top ten singles. So definitely not a flop, yet.

See, this is where I absolutely loathe you and Rico. Of course RCA didn't ship only 80k copies because it wasn't expected to sell all of them in only one week. I know neither one of you are dense, but there's definitely some infantile behavior going on on your part. If you were privy to RCA and Target's sales forecasts, maybe then you could actually talk, but you can't just go around arbitrarily calling something a flop without knowing what it was expected to sell.

Well, Circus won't sell less than 290k. That'd be more logical to say if it was Blackout and her life was still a mess. Not with a #1 single, lasting in the top ten it's entire run thus far, and a stable iTunes single, major promotions coming up, interest, etc. Get smarter ^_^
With that, it makes no sense to answer your ignorant question.
