No one in the right mind should be buying Now CDs anyway. Thank god for iTunes otherwise we'd be seeing Now 29 at 400k this week.

The NOW CDs have lost their appeal. Seriously, who still buys a NOW CD with songs they've heard 10 million times?

Now 29 will still go platinum because it'll benefit from holiday sales, but I think Now 30 will be the first Now cd to not go at least platinum. I think a lot of people still buy the Now cds because they enjoy a majority of the 20 songs on the cd so to pay $10 vs. buying most of the songs for $.79-.99 each is actually a good bargain. Plus, a lot of adults still buy them because they don't own iPods.

Yeah there are still people who likes buying "compilation" CD because there is just something sentimental about it since it gathers several songs that defined a music period. Looking at the track listing of NOW 29, for people who likes to listen to radio and are not really techno savvy, Now 29 is a good buy. Here is the tracklisting of Now 29:
