For those who plan to have kids, what do you want your kids to call you? Dad/Mom? Father/Mother? By your first name?

And for those of you who plan to have kids in a same-sex relationship, would you just want your kids to call both of you by the same name (dad/mom), or how would they differentiate between the two? Discuss.

I call my parents by their first names, so I think I would want my kids to call me by my first name, too.

I'm assuming one of us would be called Dad and the other would be called Father or something. I would rather be called Dad though

I think I'd want them to call me by my first name; if my husband wanted him/her to call them 'dad' or something, that'd be fine.
