Why is it sad that for the biggest televised performance of the year, the most talented and worthy are not selected and instead whomever has a big fan base and a likelihood to want big props is? It's sad because they are not aligning entertainment with ability, but with fireworks and cheap thrills. I get the needs of the event, but why would you not have amazing talent + fireworks, lights, smoke, props, extras, etc.? Why go halfway?
They didn't call her safe. If you think that someone who is family friendly is safe than you are calling all previous Superbowl performers "safe".
